Foster Capital is led by a senior team with deep experience across real estate investment, asset management, project delivery, and institutional platforms. Our people bring a combination of global exposure and local market expertise, allowing us to operate confidently at the intersection of strategy and execution.
The team’s experience spans multiple market cycles and geographies. This breadth informs a disciplined, pragmatic approach to execution - grounded in local realities while aligned with international institutional standards.

We work closely across functions and alongside external partners to manage complexity, maintain accountability, and support informed decision-making throughout the asset and project lifecycle. Hizzan Hamid

Hizzan Hamid is a founding partner of Foster Capital with over 18 years of experience in real estate investment and business development across Malaysia, the UK, and Australia. He was formerly the Chief Executive Officer of KWEST, the real estate investment and development arm of Kumpulan Wang Persaraan (Diperbadankan) (KWAP).
Prior to KWEST, Hizzan held senior roles at Gamuda Land and Sunway Property, where he led international market entry initiatives, major acquisitions, and large-scale development transactions. Earlier in his career, he also worked with Malaysia Property Incorporated (MPI), facilitating cross-border joint ventures involving global institutional partners.
Across his career, Hizzan has transacted more than MYR 3 billion in real estate assets and has overseen institutional portfolios totalling approximately MYR 800 million. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Bolton and a Master’s degree in Finance from Taylor’s University.
Lock Jian Wah

Lock Jian Wah is a founding partner of Foster Capital with over 20 years of experience across real estate investment, asset management, project delivery, and institutional real asset platforms.
He has held senior positions at Khazanah Nasional Berhad, CIMB–Mapletree Joint Venture, M&G, PGIM, and JTC Corporation, and has played key roles in building and managing large-scale institutional real asset portfolios across multiple geographies.
Jian Wah has managed global portfolios spanning retail, mixed-use, residential, infrastructure, and private real asset funds, with experience across fund structures, PIPEs, SPVs, and Shariah-compliant investments in Malaysia. He holds degrees from the University of California, Berkeley and Stanford University, and is a CFA Charterholder as well as a Certified Financial Risk Manager.
